This is where you provide the inputs and set the parameters for the AI.
Generate Dropdown Options
- Epics and User Stories — For a full project breakdown.
- Multiple Epics — When you want to generate more than one high-level feature or functionality.
- Single Epic — If you want to elaborate on a single high-level feature or functionality.
- Multiple User Stories — To break down a particular epic into various actionable tasks.
- Single User Story — When you want to generate one user story from a detailed requirement.
Prompt History Section
Keeps a record of all your previous prompts, which you can copy and refine for additional prompts as needed.
Prompt Input Section
Be as specific as possible for more precise results.
Example: "Develop an asset management system for a physical infrastructure provider for telecommunication services."
Prompt Enhancer
Uses ChatGPT to further elaborate your initial prompt when generating multiple epics and/or user stories.
Prompt Generate Button
Click to create the epics and/or user stories.
Results Pane
This is where you'll see the epics and user stories generated by Storygenie.
IMPORTANT: Enable the Story Issue Type
- Project Settings → Issue Types
- Ensure Story is listed
- If missing, Add Issue Type → Story
Editing & Publishing
- Assign or reassign stories to epics
- Delete epics and user stories
- Inline edit the summary field
- Edit descriptions in a modal
- Use Storygenie Unleashed to generate more stories under an epic
- Publish directly to Jira
- Clear all to reset the workspace

If you experience any issues with the app, verify you’re on the latest version:
- Apps → Manage Apps in Jira
- Locate Storygenie
- Confirm version is 7.0.0
- Click Update if needed
